Islamabad suicide blast, 12 killed

At least twelve people lost their lives and 36 others were injured in a suicide explosion near the district and sessions court in Islamabad’s G-11 area on Tuesday, officials confirmed. Pakistan’s Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed this was a suicide attack.

For now, Islamabad remains on high alert, with security tightened across all key government and judicial installations.
