Turkish air bridge delivers humanitarian aid to flood-stricken Pakistan following Erdogan instructions

Under the direction of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, AFAD will continue to send more aid and relief to Pakistan, according to a statement by the Turkish Ministry of Interior, with 10,000 tents, 50,000 food baskets, 50,000 packages of hygiene and sterilization supplies, and 10,000 parcels of baby food already sent as part of the first of numerous planned batches, to flood-stricken areas in brotherly Pakistan. The statement noted that relief equipment and materials were sent aboard two planes that left Türkiye on Saturday, and a team from AFAD will supervise the construction of a camp as well as the distribution of food aid. On Sunday, AFAD said it will continue to send additional aid to Pakistan in the coming days.
