Injuries reported following Istanbul tram crash

Tram rams into back of another stationary tram at Topcular stop

Fourteen passengers were wounded in a tram accident in Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district on Thursday, according to initial reports.

A tram reportedly rammed into another stationary tram at the Topcular stop in Eyupsultan.

None of the injured people, including the tram driver, were said to be in serious conditions.

Several ambulances and a fire brigade squad had rushed to the scene soon after the incident.

A probe was said to be launched into the incident.
