Irish women refuse to say “God bless America,” say “Free Palestine” instead

During a Kneecap concert in Ireland, an Irish woman declined to repeat the phrase “God bless America.” Instead, she responded by saying, “Free Palestine, your policies are so f*cked up,” while her friend also shouted “Free Palestine.”

Irish public support for Palestine has been longstanding, predating the wider international awareness of Israel’s actions prior to October 7, 2023.
