Netanyahu tells Trump the world now likes him and Israel again

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said in a Fox News interview that he recently spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following the announcement of the Gaza ceasefire.

Trump said Netanyahu called him, expressing surprise that “everyone likes him now.” Trump replied that “more importantly, they are loving Israel again.” He added that he told Netanyahu, “Israel cannot fight the world, Bibi. They can’t fight the world,” noting that Netanyahu understood this point.

After killing at least 67,183 Palestinians, Bibi now thinks the world has healed, that everyone suddenly likes Israel. But a ceasefire doesn’t erase what happened. The loss, the trauma, the destruction remain. Palestine will need years to recover from the wounds, the grief, and the feeling of a nation broken.
