Palestinian police deploy in Gaza

Following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from parts of the Gaza Strip, a contingent of Palestinian police officers, affiliated with the Gaza government, has been deployed to maintain order on the streets.

This deployment is part of the security arrangements outlined in the recent ceasefire agreement brokered between the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and occupier Israel.
