Why was Zionism considered an antisemitic ideology for Jews?

England's support for Israel continues unabated. Like the Germans, they maintain this support as a matter of state policy. During the Labour Party's time in government, this support continued to increase. They even did not hesitate to ban pro-Palestinian protests after October 7, 2023. Likewise, during this period, the definition of antisemitism was expanded, and criticism of Israel began to fall within the scope of antisemitism. Criticism of Zionism was also included in the antisemitism category. Zionist Jews, taking advantage of this ground, were able to present pro-Palestinian protesters who opposed the killing of thousands of children as a threat to Jewish life under the rubric of antisemitism. Last week, a famous American actor said he was frightened when he saw someone walking around with a T-shirt that read "Zionism is racism" and called it antisemitism. In England, anyone who takes to the streets to support Palestine can be labeled a terrorist. Criticism of Israel and Zionists is now considered an antisemitic act by British courts. In England, Zionism is equated with Judaism.
For a long time, I have been trying to express that we should not evaluate such incidents in the US, England, and Germany through traditional approaches like the West's double standard. The West's double standard is also a category that diverts our attention. Such an approach, which acknowledges the existence of consistent behavior, undoubtedly stems from attributing a certain value to the aforementioned countries. Because we believe that the countries we have listed are subservient to Jewish power, we actually consider the double standard category as an opportunity. Thus, we push events we cannot define into a deep void. In doing so, we do not dwell on the reasons why these countries open space for the Zionists. Yet it is impossible to understand this support without considering the Eastern Mediterranean policies of the Germans, the British, and the Americans. Looking at historical events, the support of the countries we have listed and similar ones for Zionism is directly related to the "Eastern Question." This is proof that the issue cannot be understood through Jewish power and Jewish theology.
The hostile attitude toward Palestinians and pro-Palestinians is a result of the US, England, and Germany's careful conflation of Jews with Israel. Christian Zionists and Zionist Jews, like these states, equate Israel and Zionism with Judaism. Israel also implements the same policy much more harshly. This situation is actually a result of an understanding that has continued since the 1920s. The question "Who made the Jews Zionists?" is certainly very important, as the process of Zionistization is still ongoing. But here, a second question must also be asked. From the moment it first emerged, why was Zionism considered an antisemitic idea and movement? The Zionists' persistent attempts to include anti-Israel and anti-Zionist ideas and actions into the antisemitism category are very important for us to find the answer to this question. When they include criticism of Israel and Zionism in the antisemitism category, they are presenting all Jews as being within Zionism. Time will tell whether Jews in general will object to this. Because faith in Israel and Zionism is increasingly spreading among Jews as well.
After October 7, 2023, the world had the opportunity to see much more closely the alliance of Protestants and Anglo-Saxons with Israel. This realization cannot be dismissed. It must be stated clearly that there is no turning back from this. The Palestinians have shown the whole world, especially in Protestant countries, what kind of worldview they share with Israel. I doubt whether we have seen the same thing along with the rest of the world. The work of British, American, and German technology companies for Zionist Jewish colonization has not been sufficiently discussed in Türkiye. Indeed, the activities of capital groups in West Bank colonies have not been fully exposed either. The reason for this is our attempt to understand the relationship of the Anglo-Saxon and Protestant world with Zionism and Israel in a religious context. Many still think that the US, England, and Germany are obliged to support Israel.
Israel and Zionism will now be mentioned in the whole world alongside what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank. No one can change this truth. The countries that support them should be discussed at least as much as Israel.
