10 PKK terrorists killed in Southeast: governor

Ten more PKK members are pronounced dead on fifth day of curfew still deemed necessary to subdue terror threat in southeastern town
At least 10 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists have been killed in anti-terror raids which have been ongoing in the recent five days in Nusaybin town, said the Mardin governor's office.
The curfew has still remained in effect on its fifth day in the restive Nusaybin town in an effort to contain PKK violence, said the governor's office, detailing the death toll from the clashes.
“As of today, 10 members of PKK and KCK organisations were neutralized by shooting. Two citizens lost their lives and 13 others were wounded,” it said.
According to the governor's office, three people wanted for being PKK members were apprehended during the operations.
“Twelve high explosive set-ups have been detonated, 38 barricades removed, one ditch has been closed as well as three long-trucks and one van, used as barricades to prevent access into remote areas, have been taken away,” it elaborated.
