14 dead, 2 wounded in PKK attack on police bus in eastern Turkey

The terrorist attack on the service bus left 14 officers dead and four others injured in the eastern Turkish province, say reports
14 police officers were killed and two others were injured after PKK terrorists attacked a service bus which was carrying police officers in the eastern Turkish province of Igdir on Tuesday.
The media outlets said that the remotely-controlled bomb, previously planted by the PKK, struck the service bus passing near the village of Hasanhan village. After the blast which tore apart the service bus, the two wounded officers were immediately taken to the state hospital in Iğdır.
When the attack occured in the morning, the service bus was on its way to the Dilucu crossing border between Turkey and Nakhichevan
the Autonomous Republic in Azerbaijan
Tuesday's assault is the latest attack, which was carried out by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK.
