PKK ditches hinder transport of injured in southern Turkey

A wounded woman taken to hospital by people hampered by PKK ditches, preventing passage of ambulances
An injured woman was taken to the hospital by people who carried her for kilometers around ditches excavated by Kurdistan Workers' Party's (PKK) terrorists, which prevented an ambulance from reaching the scene in Hakkari province in Turkey.
The woman, who was injured after a fall in her home, was helped by her neighbors in Yüksekova town.
Residents of Yüksekova carried the woman for 3 kilometers. She then was taken to the Yüksekova State Hospital by an ambulance which was waiting on the midway.
Thousands of people have left their homes because of ongoing terror attacks in Southern Turkey.
Security forces have been fighting against the terror group by removing barricades set up by the PKK, destroying booby traps and filling excavated ditches in the region.
The PKK targets civilians, burns mosques, schools and hospitals and carries out attacks on ambulances.
It was discovered that the terrorist organization instructed militants to demolish all houses, schools and hospitals, through the leakage of walky-talkies conversations among PKK members.
The PKK is an armed militant group that has been carrying out terror attacks mostly in southeastern Turkey for more than 30 years.
