Two people detained trying to sell 800-year-old Bible in Isparta province
Two smugglers were detained as they attempted to sell an 800-year-old Bible in the western province of Isparta.
Police soldiers launched the operation on a tip.
The Bible was found in the suspects' house during a search.
Security forces said that the book was written in ancient Greek and contained images of Jesus and other Biblical figures.
The suspects were taken to the courthouse after the gendarmerie command.
