Hakan Fidan hosts UK's Yvette Cooper at Turkish House in New York

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday met with Yvette Cooper, Britain’s foreign secretary.

Meeting behind closed doors on the sidelines of this week’s UN General Assembly in New York, Fidan hosted Cooper at the Turkish House.

The two discussed bilateral relations and efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, according to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources.
