Türkiye condemns Israeli settler attacks, killings of Palestinians in West Bank

Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned attacks by illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank and the killing of Palestinian civilians, accusing the Netanyahu government of encouraging settler violence through occupation and genocide policies aimed at intimidating Palestinians and undermining regional peace.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued a strong condemnation of attacks carried out by illegal Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, as well as the killing of Palestinian civilians. In a written statement, the ministry accused the Israeli government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of actively encouraging settler violence through policies of occupation and genocide.
Intimidation and undermining peace
Ankara stated that these actions are designed to intimidate the Palestinian people and undermine efforts to establish peace and stability in the region. The ministry reiterated its call for the international community to ensure that violations committed by Israel in Palestine do not go unpunished, urging that those responsible be held accountable in courts of law.
Call for accountability
Türkiye’s statement comes amid escalating violence in the West Bank, where Palestinian authorities report dozens of civilians killed and injured in recent weeks by Israeli forces and settlers. The Turkish government has repeatedly condemned Israel’s settlement expansion and military operations, calling for an end to what it describes as systematic human rights violations against Palestinians.
