Two soldiers martyred, 15 PKK terrorists killed in Hakkari

Turkish military carries out new barrage of offensives against the outlawed organisation, killing at least 15 terrorists
The General Staff said 15 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists were killed in the military campaign, still underway in the town of Yüksekova in Hakkari province, close to the Iraqi border.
Two soldiers were killed and one other suffered slight injuries during the conflict on November 4.
The unrest in the Southeast still continues after Sunday's elections, which resulted in the AK Party's regaining of the majority in Parliament. The town of Yüksekova has remained tense as PKK terrorists resist security forces, who have launched operations to remove barricades, which closed access to remote areas into Yüksekova.
Media reports quoting the General Staff said that 15 members of the terrorist organisation were neutralized during the ongoing air campaign aimed at PKK members, who were still trying to advance in small groups in Dağlıca in the aftermath of the air campaign conducted on November 3.
Turkish army began its air-and-ground operations against PKK terrorist organization inside Turkey and northern Iraq in late July, as the PKK renewed its armed campaign against the Turkish state following a two-and-a-half year cease-fire.
