US drone makes emergency landing in Turkey

A technical failure forced a US drone to make an emergency landing in southern Turkey

An unmanned aerial vehicle of US origin reportedly made an emergency landing in the southern province of Hatay on Tuesday.

According to Turkish military sources, initial findings suggest a technical failure could be connected with the emergency landing of the US unmanned aerial vehicle, mainly known as drone.

After the failure, the drone made an emergency landing near Gülova village in the Kırıkhan town of Hatay, said the military sources.

Security was increased in the region during its landing.
