Threats to Infrastructure and Hormuz
Qalibaf added that no infrastructure would be safe unless Iran's security is ensured, and that security in the Strait of Hormuz would only be possible with the withdrawal of US forces from the region. He said Iran has repeatedly stated that the strait will not return to its pre-war conditions.
Escalating Conflict
The warning comes amid ongoing exchanges between Iran and the US, which have escalated despite a Pakistani-brokered memorandum of understanding signed last month intended to end the conflict and establish lasting peace.
