World leaders and senior officials from multiple nations commenced arrivals in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday for a high-stakes international summit focused on securing a sustainable peace in Gaza. The Red Sea resort city is hosting the diplomatic gathering amid cautious optimism following the implementation of an initial ceasefire.

The summit is expected to draw participation from more than twenty world leaders overall.
