Yesterday, right in the middle of Paris, there had been an attack directed at the Charlie Hebdo magazine. Twelve people lost their lives. Such a terrorist demonstration is no way acceptable. No matter who conducted it, whether ISIL, European Gladio or Al-Qaeda, it’s out of logic to defend them.
This terrorist activity experienced in Paris also harbors many questions. First of all, the terrorists are professionals. They shoot anything in their aim. They are not rushing and they are cold-blooded. According to the rumors, the terrorists said “Allahuakbar” while entering the building, and following that, shouted, “We have avenged our Prophet”. According to the news of the English broadcasting corporation, Sky News, the lady, who opened the door to the attackers, stated that the attackers spoke perfect French. Such an interesting condition. It seems that the ones behind it had put their IDs on the line. In some way, they left their business cards at the place they carried out the attack.
The number one perpetrator for Europe and US is ISIL. If the attack had occurred after 4 years, the perpetrator would have been Al – Qaeda. Then, why did they carry out this attack? This is the actual question. Two days ago a suicide bomber, who wanted to attack Sultanahmet, had been pulled into the police station, and a great calamity was prevented. If the suicide bomber exploded in an open area, the number of deceased would have reached hundreds. Thank God, that didn’t happen. A day later, the attack on Paris was actualized.
France’s position here is important also. Recently, France had come to a similar position with Turkey’s foreign policy field. Hollande had clearly stated that Assad should leave. Besides, under ISIL’s bombardment, he didn’t send an aircraft to Syria. He stated that he will only join the shooting of the targets in Iraq. He had emphasized that the bombardment in Syria will only work out for ISIL. It’s beneficial to watch how France will act in these two matters.
On the other hand, there is an Islamophobia side of the issue. As if Germany is in the lead, the country is trying to legitimize the Islam hostility with its own hands. PEGIDA’s numbers had increased from 500 people to 17,000. In almost all of Germany’s cities, demonstrations against Islam were conducted. However, even though it couldn’t find a place in the main news of Germany, there had been many things said about how bad the Islamophobia is. Just when PEGIDA was about to lose its reputation in the community level, the Islam hostility in Europe had been reinforced with the attack in Paris
The message, “Did you see it? You are saying it’s not Islam hostility, however they are killing you right in the middle of Europe”, is injected into everyone’s mind.
After these attacks, there will be an alteration in Europe’s security policies. New steps could be taken in the matter of immigrants. Some severe precautions could be taken directed at their reason for entering Europe. Similar policies like the post- 9/11 measures, might be in question.
There are questions to be answered. How is it possible for a professional assault to happen in the middle of Europe? Besides, the attackers were carrying heavy weaponry. How did that weaponry arrive in Paris? When I was writing the article, the assailants were yet to be found.
Almost 2 years had passed over the killing of three women, who were PKK members. There were even some who said that MIT had conducted those assassinations. The perpetrators are nowhere to be found. The responsibility was imputed on a poor guy. In a city like Paris, the perpetrators are yet to be found. Really interesting.
Either someone is using Paris as an experimental city, or everything is happening coincidentally here. ISIL might be behind these attacks. However, it’s 100 percent clear that intelligence agencies are behind this. After all, ISIL was the easiest answer. Say they did it, and off you go. It’s ever so comfortable.
However, the assassinations of the PKK women and these recent attacks are reeking of European Gladio. In the next couple of days, many answers will be revealed. Besides, what could be said to the ones saying that Muslims had conducted the attacks and thus showing their Islam hostility? Let's say we understand the foreigners, but what can we say to the ones between us? There is Islamophobia in Europe; however, the number of Islamophobics in Turkey is not that different from the number outside.
