Baby born with elderly man’s face in Bangladesh

A baby in Bangladesh was born with a rare medical condition that causes his face to resemble that of an elderly man’s, drawing many comparisons from internet commentators to actor Brad Pitt’s character Benjamin Button, who ages in reverse in the Oscar winning film.

The baby was born with an extremely rare genetic disorder called Progeria at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, which results in the newborn having an elderly man’s face from the moment it is born.

Children suffering from progeria syndrome appear to age faster than usual. There is no cure or treatment for the disease as of now.
