A group of Ertugrul stars— including Esra Bilgiç, Engin Altan Düzyatan and Celal Ay— have signed multiple contracts with local brands, attended charity events and even paid visits to Pakistan to meet their hardcore fans.
Now, it seems we have a Turkish-Pakistani bromance looming as two stars sing their hearts out in a touching duet.
Ertugrul's Abdul Rehman Alp met with Pakistani actor and singer Imran Abbas in the metropolitan Turkish city of Istanbul, and man, did they have a blast.

Taking to his Instagram account, the 38-year-old Pakistani actor shared a video in which he sang the famous Pakistani patriotic song “Dil Dil Pakistan” with Turkish actor Celal Ay in carpool karaoke, reminiscent of British actor James Corden’s sing-alongs with famous celebs.
“May this brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkey stay forever,” Abbas said in his caption.
“Dil Dil Pakistan, Can Can Türkiye (Jaan Jaan Turkey),” Celal Ay commented on the post.
Often described as the Turkish Game of Thrones, the series is woven around 13th century Anatolia and tells the story prior to the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. It illustrates the struggle of Ertugrul Gazi, father of the empire's founder.
The series illustrates the struggle of Ertuğrul and his warriors against a plethora of adversaries from the Knights Templar to Mongol invaders.
Ertugrul Gazi surged to fame in Pakistan when Prime Minister Imran Khan endorsed the series and said watching it would promote "Islamic history and ethics" among the country's youth.
Its popularity further increased since the national broadcaster PTV began airing Urdu-dubbed episodes of the show in April.
The series has also inspired Pakistan to erect statues of Ertugrul Ghazi in a residential area of Lahore.
