Crime organization leader wanted on red notice being extradited to Türkiye

Ramazan Baygara apprehended, arrested in Greece by Interpol, says Adana governorate

Ramazan Baygara, leader of a crime organization wanted with a red notice for establishing a criminal organization, was arrested in Greece and is being extradited Friday to Türkiye.

The Adana Governorate said Bayğara was apprehended and arrested in Greece by Interpol.

"Our fight against crime and criminals will continue steadfastly, and no structure aimed at disrupting the peace of our city and country will ever be tolerated," it wrote on X.
