An ancient stadium dating back to the Roman era was discovered in Turkey's Konya. The stadium discovered in Konya's Sarayönü district was sealed off for preservation.
A citizen wanting to build a house on his plot of land, which was a protected site, applied to the General Directorate of Monuments and Museum.
After the investigation, it was discovered that the mosaic structure was an ancient stadium. The recovered stadium was then covered with a canvas for its preservation.
