Billionaire property tycoon Asif Aziz is overseeing the construction of a three-storey mosque within London's renowned Trocadero complex, situated in the bustling area between Piccadilly Circus and Soho. The original plans for a larger 1,000-capacity mosque at the site were abandoned in 2020 due to opposition from local residents and extremist far-right groups. However, a revised proposal for a smaller-scale development received approval from the Westminster Council in May.
