Brazilian player joins Turkish Super Lig club on 5-year contract

Galatasaray signed Norwich City's Gabriel Sara on Sunday.

In a post on X, Galatasaray said that Sara, 25, joined the Turkish Super Lig club on a five-year contract after it agreed with the Brazilian central midfielder and the English side.

The Istanbul side said that they have paid €18 million ($19.6 million) for the player, and Sara will get €2.75 million for each season.

Norwich wished Sara "success in future."

In 2022, Sara left Brazil's Sao Paulo for Norwich to score 21 goals and make 17 assists in 96 appearances.

He was selected in the 2023-24 English Football League Championship team of the season.
