Turkish and Jordanian military forces have launched two military exercises in Jordan.
According to a Wednesday statement by the Turkish Embassy in Amman, the military drills began on December 15 and will last until December 22.
One of the exercises aims to boost cooperation between border guards from the two countries, the statement said.
This military exercise takes place every year and is hosted by Turkey and Jordan alternately.
The statement said the second exercise aims to enhance training and joint cooperation between ground forces from both states.
First launched in 2000, this drill is held every two years between Turkey and Jordan.
