Turkish defense company Baykar has demonstrated its expanding role in African security through participation in the Bamako Expo Fair (BAMEX'25) in Mali's capital. The exhibition featured scale models of Baykar's prominent unmanned aerial vehicles including the Bayraktar TB2, Akıncı, TB3, and Kızılelma, introducing these systems to international delegations seeking advanced defense solutions.
African Market Expansion
Africa represents one of Baykar's fastest-growing markets, with numerous nations adopting Turkish drone technology for their security needs. Countries including Mali, Morocco, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Libya, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger, Djibouti, Somalia, Rwanda, and Kenya have incorporated Baykar's combat-proven unmanned aerial vehicles into their defense architectures to address national security challenges.

Baykar has positioned Türkiye as the world's leading exporter of armed UAVs, with 83% of its revenue generated from international sales since beginning research and development in 2003.
