Türkiye extends condolences to Venezuela after earthquakes

Communications Director Burhanettin Duran on Thursday conveyed profound condolences to Venezuela following successive earthquakes that impacted the South American country. He affirmed that Türkiye remains steadfast in its solidarity with the Venezuelan people and government during the ongoing crisis.

Posting on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, Duran stated: "I was deeply saddened by the successive earthquakes in Venezuela. I wholeheartedly share the suffering of the Venezuelan people and the sorrow for those who lost their lives in the earthquake," expressing his personal grief over the natural disaster. He extended his condolences to the Venezuelan government and citizens, wishing a swift recovery to those injured in the tremors.

Duran added: "Türkiye will continue to stand in profound solidarity with Venezuela during these challenging times," reiterating Ankara's long-term commitment to supporting the South American nation.
