Continued Support Through Rafah
This latest mission marks a significant step in Ankara's ongoing humanitarian efforts. Since the onset of the war on October 7, 2023, the Turkish Red Crescent has consistently utilized its "Goodness Ship" initiative to deliver aid to the blockaded region. The effort has been bolstered by collaborations with various Turkish public institutions and the private sector, strengthening the country's solidarity network with the people of Gaza.

Ankara Scales Up Deliveries
The successful delivery of this aid coincides with the renewed accessibility of the Rafah border crossing, a vital artery for humanitarian relief that was partially reopened on February 2 after a prolonged closure. With this vital crossing now operational, Türkiye has accelerated its logistics, announcing plans to dispatch an initial batch of 20,000 container homes to Gaza, further demonstrating its commitment to providing both immediate relief and longer-term shelter solutions for the affected population.
