Call to Asr Prayer echoes from a flotilla ship bound for Gaza

The call to Asr prayer was recited from one of the ships of the World Resistance Fleet heading towards Gaza. The Global Sumud Flotilla, which started assembling last month, includes ships that set sail from Barcelona and Genoa.

Unlike earlier attempts by single boats, the organizers stressed that this is the largest convoy so far. The flotilla is carrying humanitarian supplies and intends to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza, where severe shortages of food and basic goods continue under prolonged border closures.
