Erbakan explains Türkiye’s role in countering Zionist vision

Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, Turkish political theorist, speaking in 1992 on the television program “Açık Oturum,” addressed controversial geopolitical themes, including Israel’s regional policies and what he described as a long-term Zionist strategy. He claimed that “Since its establishment, Israel has only attacked its surroundings,” and outlined a three-step plan culminating in global Zionist dominance.

Erbakan further argued that Türkiye holds a historic responsibility to reshape international politics. He stated that Türkiye would “bring countries together and establish an order where justice, not power, prevails.” His remarks reflected broader debates in the early 1990s regarding post-Cold War realignments and Middle East politics.
