Turkiye celebrates 122 students completing Quran memorization

A graduation ceremony was held in Burdur, Türkiye, for 122 students who successfully completed Quran memorization courses affiliated with the Burdur Provincial Mufti’s Office. The event took place at an indoor sports hall and began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by a slideshow presentation and Quran recitation.

Burdur Governor Tülay Baydar Bilgihan congratulated the graduates, praising their dedication and perseverance. Bilgihan said, "We are witnessing the great struggles of our brothers and sisters in many oppressed regions of the world. In order to be strong, alive, and standing tall in all these struggles, it is necessary to not stray from the words of the Quran and to feel the Quran as a guide in our lives."

The ceremony emphasized the spiritual and educational significance of Quran memorization and recognized the graduates’ achievement as a milestone in their religious education.
