Anti-immigrant group disrupts Sikh procession in South Auckland

A far-right Christian group calling itself “True Patriots of NZ” staged a protest against immigrants by performing a haka — a traditional Māori dance — during a Sikh religious parade in South Auckland on December 20.

The group displayed a banner reading “This is New Zealand not India” and wore blue shirts imprinted with slogans such as “Keep NZ, NZ,” “Kiwis First,” and “True Patriot.”
