Cinnabon worker fired after racist attack on Somali couple

An employee of the U.S.-based bakery chain Cinnabon was dismissed after a racist attack on a Somali couple, during which she allegedly insulted them with slurs.

The incident, which drew widespread condemnation on social media, led activists to uncover her identity. Despite her termination, the woman reportedly received tens of thousands of dollars in donations from online supporters.
