Gaza children perform Umrah

Gaza children orphaned in genocide have performed the Umrah pilgrimage after being brought to Saudi Arabia with the support of philanthropist Faraz Yousufzai and volunteer networks. The journey followed a widely shared plea by the children, who expressed a simple wish: “We want to see the Kaaba.”

Upon arriving in Mecca, the children performed Umrah and witnessed the Kaaba for the first time, with many of the children moved to tears during the pilgrimage.
