IDF troops clash in dining hall melee as chairs and bins fly

A chaotic brawl erupted inside a dining hall at an IDF base in northern Israel, where dozens of soldiers were filmed throwing plastic chairs and trash bins at one another. The altercation involved troops from the 401st Armored Brigade, with the military examining whether Givati Brigade soldiers also participated.

In its statement, the IDF said the incident “does not reflect the values of the IDF or the expectations from its soldiers and commanders,” adding that it is under “thorough investigation.
