Medic at Lahore hospital recites naat to comfort patient

At Lahore’s Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI), a medic was captured on video providing care to a critically ill patient while reciting a naat — a devotional poem honoring the Prophet Muhamad (pbuh).

The lyrics and meaning of the naat he recited are as follows:

▪️Hamne Aankhon Se Dekha Nahi Hai Magar

▫️We have not seen him with our own eyes, yet

▪️Unki Tasveer Seene Mein Maujood Hain

▫️His image lives in our hearts

▪️Jis Ne La Kar Kalam-E-Ilahi Diya

▫️The one who brought the Divine Word (Qur’an)
