Turkish-led initiative revives education in war-torn Gaza

Turkish authorities have reopened Al-Mamouniya School in Gaza’s Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, which had previously been destroyed and used as a military post during the Israeli genocide.

The reopening marks a significant step toward restoring education for children who were unable to attend school throughout the war on Gaza.

Residents and families welcomed the initiative during a public ceremony, celebrating the revival of their children’s education journey.
