US Marine veteran arrested after Senate protest on Iran war
A former US Marine was arrested after interrupting a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing in Washington. The protest occurred on Wednesday when the veteran voiced opposition to the United States’ involvement in the conflict involving Israel and Iran.
The man, identified as Brian McGuinness, reportedly disrupted the proceedings while criticizing US policy toward the war. During the protest, he declared that “America does not want to fight this war for Israel.”
