Venezuela protest organiser detained mid-interview in Michigan
Venezuela protest organiser Jessica Plichta, who led a demonstration in Michigan against the U.S. operation to abduct President Nicolás Maduro, was arrested on camera while speaking to a TV crew.
Authorities charged her with blocking a roadway before releasing her later that day. Plichta described the arrest as politically motivated, noting she was the only individual detained among roughly 200 participants.
"I was arrested – the only person arrested out of 200 people," she said.
