13 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza despite ceasefire

At least 13 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Friday, including a woman, her two children, and six police officers. The attacks violated a ceasefire in place since October 2025. Gaza’s Interior Ministry condemned the “continued silence” of international organizations over the targeting of civilian police personnel.
At least 13 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli strikes across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday, marking ongoing violations of a ceasefire that took effect in October 2025. Gaza’s Interior Ministry reported that eight people — including two officers, two police assistants, and four civilians — were killed when an Israeli strike hit a police vehicle in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Woman and children among the dead
In northern Gaza, medical sources told Anadolu that a woman and her two children were killed, and six others injured, in an Israeli strike targeting homes near the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia. Earlier, two Palestinian police officers were killed and two wounded in a strike on a police patrol near the Sheikh Radwan police station in Gaza City. The Interior Ministry condemned the attacks, stating that police forces in Gaza provide essential services to residents and are protected under international law.
Ceasefire violations mount
The ministry criticized the “continued silence” of international organizations, particularly the International Committee of the Red Cross, calling their inaction “complicity that encourages further violations.” The attacks targeted areas outside Israeli military deployment zones under the ceasefire agreement. Since the October 2025 ceasefire, Israel has committed over 2,400 violations, resulting in 972 Palestinian deaths and 2,235 injuries, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. More than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war began in October 2023.
