At least 44 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.

In the latest attacks, three Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while rescue teams retrieved five bodies from under the rubble of homes destroyed earlier in the day.

In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed and another injured when Israeli forces struck a civilian car.

In the same neighborhood of Gaza City, another Palestinian was killed and several others wounded in shelling near Abdel Al-Aal Junction on Al-Jalaa Street.

Seven Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli forces hit a building affiliated with the Prisoners’ Affairs Ministry in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City, which currently serves as a displacement center.

Another seven Palestinians were killed in a strike targeting an apartment in the Barcelona area of the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.

In the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on Aidiya Street.

A separate drone strike killed another Palestinian when it hit a civilian vehicle near the entrance to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Israeli forces also carried out a series of demolitions in Tel al-Hawa, destroying homes and buildings around Al-Khoul Square and the University College area, using explosive-laden robots.

Israeli warplanes repeatedly struck a building inside the Islamic University and destroyed it, witnesses said.

Shelling also targeted areas east of Sheikh Radwan in Gaza City, but no information was yet available about injuries.

The Israeli army dropped leaflets across Gaza City, warning residents to evacuate south, describing the city as a “dangerous combat zone.”

Six Palestinians, including two women and three children, were killed when Israeli warplanes struck a tent shelter for displaced families near the naval site southwest of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

A Palestinian father and his son were killed in a strike on their home in Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

One Palestinian was killed in an Israeli strike on a house in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Four more Palestinians were killed near an aid distribution point north of Rafah, while another was killed in artillery shelling in central Khan Younis.

Elsewhere, an additional Palestinian was killed in an Israeli attack on a civilian gathering in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military continued to demolish homes in northern Gaza and Gaza City, aiming to force civilians to relocate southwards.

Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has killed nearly 65,000 Palestinians since October 2023, and devastated the enclave, which faces famine.

Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its war on the territory.
