Five people were killed in an explosion at an illegal fireworks production factory in China, local media reported on Tuesday, adding that two others went missing as a result of the blast.
The explosion occurred around 4 a.m. local time (0800 GMT) in Liling city of southern Hunan province, the Beijing-based Global Times reported.
People suspected of being involved in the production are being investigated, the daily said, citing local authorities.
