German students demand boycott of Israeli institutions

Students at Berlin's Free University staged a protest on Thursday to demand the administration sever all ties with Israeli academic institutions, warning that continued cooperation would render the university complicit in what they described as genocide in Gaza and apartheid policies against Palestinians.
Academic boycott call
Demonstrators gathered outside the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Free University Berlin on Thursday to demand an immediate academic boycott of Israeli institutions. They accused the university administration of complicity in ongoing violence in Gaza. The protest targeted specific institutional partnerships, according to Anadolu Agency.
