Hezbollah claims 32 attacks on Israel in 24 hours

Hezbollah announced it carried out 32 attacks against Israeli military targets over the past 24 hours, including bases, troop concentrations, and armored vehicles in southern Lebanon and northern Israel. The group claimed strikes on Israel's Mishar intelligence headquarters and seven Merkava tanks. Nine Israeli soldiers were wounded by rockets fired from southern Lebanon, Israeli media reported.
Hezbollah said Saturday that it had conducted 32 attacks on Israeli military positions within a single day, using rockets, drones, and artillery. The Lebanese group stated the operations were carried out "in defense of Lebanon and its people" as Israel's offensive against the country continues.
Key Israeli headquarters targeted
In a statement, Hezbollah said its fighters struck the Mishar base, which it described as the main intelligence headquarters for Israel's northern region, as well as the Dado base, home to the Israeli army's Northern Command. The group also claimed to have targeted an Israeli RC-12 reconnaissance aircraft flying above the western Bekaa valley in eastern Lebanon, forcing it to withdraw.
Heavy Israeli armor losses claimed
Hezbollah reported destroying a Hummer vehicle and seven Merkava tanks in the southern Lebanese towns of Qantara, Dibel, and Bayyada, asserting direct hits. The group also said it engaged in clashes with Israeli forces in several areas of southern Lebanon, including Taybeh, Bayyada, Qantara, and Shamaa.

Israeli casualties confirmed
The Israeli army confirmed that nine soldiers, including two officers, were wounded Saturday after rockets were fired from southern Lebanon. Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported that seven soldiers and two officers were injured, though it did not specify whether the wounds came from direct rocket hits or falling interceptor debris.
Wider regional context
Israel has pounded Lebanon with airstrikes and launched a ground offensive in southern Lebanon since a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2. Lebanese authorities say at least 1,189 people have been killed and 3,427 injured in Israeli attacks. The escalation coincides with the broader US-Israeli offensive on Iran, which has killed more than 1,340 people since February 28, with Iran retaliating through drone and missile strikes on Israel and US bases in Gulf countries.
