Attacks on Israeli positions
Hezbollah said on Thursday it conducted 37 attacks against Israeli military positions in southern Lebanon and northern Israel over the past 24 hours, targeting an Iron Dome air defense platform and troop gatherings in response to alleged Israeli ceasefire violations. The operations included explosive drone strikes, rocket barrages and anti-tank missile fire aimed at military vehicles and sites along the frontier.
The group said its fighters targeted an Iron Dome launcher at the Jal al-Allam military site with explosive drones, and struck several Merkava tanks and engineering vehicles. One drone attack hit Israeli soldiers at the Galilee Forest camp while another struck a tent housing troops in Naqoura, the group added.
Ground clashes
Hezbollah fighters also engaged Israeli forces at close range in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, forcing them to retreat before Israeli forces launched heavy bombardment in the area, according to the group's statement. The operation formed part of the 24-hour assault wave amid continued Israeli military activity across southern Lebanon.

Lebanon offensive
Since March 2, Israel has been conducting an expanded offensive on Lebanon that has killed more than 3,200 people, injured over 9,600 and displaced over 1.6 million, according to official figures. The Israeli army has continued its operations daily despite a US-mediated ceasefire that took effect on April 17 and was later extended to early July.
