Iran warns northern Israel residents to evacuate if Beirut attacked

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters has warned residents of northern Israel to leave the area if Israel carries out threats to expand attacks on Beirut. Tehran views any crossing of red lines in Lebanon and Gaza as direct war, threatening to open new fronts.
Iran’s Khatam al‑Anbiya Central Headquarters on Monday warned residents of northern Israel to evacuate if Israel follows through on threats to expand attacks on Beirut and its southern suburbs. State‑run IRNA quoted the headquarters as saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had threatened to bomb Beirut’s Dahieh district and issued evacuation warnings to residents there. “If such threats are carried out, residents of northern Israel and military settlements should leave the area if they wish to avoid harm,” the statement said.
Red lines and new fronts
In a post on X, the Intelligence Organization of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that Tehran views any crossing of its red lines in Lebanon and Gaza as an act of direct war and an attempt to impose costs on Iran’s national security and the “resistance axis.” Iran would respond through defensive operations, including “opening new fronts,” while maintaining its position on the Strait of Hormuz. “Whoever sows the wind will reap the whirlwind,” the post read.
Strait of Hormuz warning
Separately, Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, wrote on X that the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iranian management and warned that Tehran would not allow a continued naval blockade. “We will not allow the continuation of the naval blockade, nor will further escalation in Lebanon be tolerated,” Rezaei said.
