13 Palestinians killed in single Israeli airstrike on home in Khan Younis

The Israeli army killed at least 86 Palestinians in a series of airstrikes Wednesday across the Gaza Strip.

Five members of a single family were killed in an airstrike that targeted their home in the Al-Manara neighborhood south of Khan Younis city, according to medical sources.

Another civilian was killed and several others injured when a helicopter strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the western part of Khan Younis, they said.

A medical source told Anadolu that 13 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a home in the southern city of Khan Younis.

Another Palestinian was killed and four others were injured in an Israeli strike on a tent for displaced people in the city's western part, he added.

At least 22 civilians were killed when Israeli warplanes struck a health clinic run by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the northern town of Jabalia, said Gaza's Government Media Office.

In Rafah, two Israeli airstrikes left five Palestinians killed as the Israeli army intensified its attacks on the city, another medical source said.

Two more Palestinians lost their lives in an airstrike targeting a home in the eastern area of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home belonging to the Dargham family in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Three other civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on a group of Palestinians in the Al-Sawarha area northwest of Al-Zawaida in central Gaza.

Earlier, Civil Defense teams managed to recover the bodies of two Palestinians following a previous Israeli airstrike on the Al-Mughraqa area in central Gaza.

Also in central Gaza, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house belonging to the Najm family east of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

In northern Gaza, three Palestinians were killed in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Eight farmers were also killed in another strike as they were tending to farmland in Al-Salam neighborhood in Khan Younis, medics said.

Israeli fighter jets also killed two police officers and a child and injured several others in the central city of Deir al-Balah, Gaza's Interior Ministry said.

Nine more people were killed, including four children, and several others injured in another attack in Rafah in southern Gaza, medics said.

Another civilian was also killed after the Israeli army opened fire on him, claiming he had approached the security fence surrounding the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli airstrike on Abasan Al Jadidah east of Khan Younis resulted in the death of another civilian.

In the southern Gaza Strip, five Palestinians were killed in two Israeli airstrikes. The first strike targeted the Morag area in the city of Rafah, killing three members of the Abu Razek family. The second strike hit a house belonging to the Abu Suneimah family, resulting in the deaths of two people.

Another Palestinian was killed and four others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people west of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, a young girl died from injuries she sustained in a previous Israeli strike on a tent in Asdaa City north of Khan Younis.

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to escalate attacks on Gaza amid efforts to implement US President Donald Trump's plan to displace Palestinians from the enclave.

Israel began a surprise aerial campaign on Gaza on March 18 and has since killed more than 1,000 people and injured over 2,500, shattering a January ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

More than 50,400 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in Israel's military onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
