The wildfires on 13 different spots, including Jerusalem, has widely spread due to the winds. As the reason behind it is still unknown, some Israeli news media outlets claimed arson and sabotage.
Along with a number of countries, Turkey sent a fire fighting aircraft to Israel yesterday, as a reaction to Israel's call for help. Palestine has also answered it in the affirmative.
The Palestinian administration of civil defense has announced that they considered the Israeli call to put out the fire positive.
In a written statement, the administration of civil defense states Palestinian teams are ready to be mobilized, but does not give any further detail regarding the aid.
Ofir Gendelman, the spokesperson for the premiership, said on his twitter account that Turkey offered a large firefighting aircraft to contribute to extinguishing wildfires across Israel, and they gladly accepted it.
Stating that among those which have sent firefighting aircrafts are also Greece, Croatia, Italia and Russia, Gendelman said 10 aircrafts came to make a joint effort in putting out the blazes.
