Regarding Venezuela, he confirmed that interim President Delcy Rodríguez requested the US purchase 50 million barrels of oil, a deal worth approximately $4.2 billion that is "currently en route" to America. Trump reiterated his demand for the US to take permanent ownership of Greenland, stating, "If we don't take Greenland, Russia or China will take it... I won't allow that to happen."
