White House claims 90% drop in Iranian missile attacks since war began

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced Friday that Iranian retaliatory strikes against the US and allies have decreased 90% over six days of conflict. She confirmed President Trump will attend a dignified transfer ceremony for six fallen service members, while reiterating that the president seeks Iran's "unconditional surrender."
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared Friday that Iranian retaliatory ballistic missile attacks against the United States and its regional partners have plummeted by 90% since the joint US-Israeli offensive began last Saturday. In an interview with Fox News, Leavitt characterized the decline as evidence of Operation Epic Fury's effectiveness, though Iran continues launching strikes including cluster munitions targeting Tel Aviv.

US Casualties and Presidential Response
Leavitt confirmed that President Donald Trump will travel to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Saturday to attend the dignified transfer ceremony for six American service members killed in the conflict. The ceremony marks a solemn milestone as the operation enters its second week with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and more than 1,000 others confirmed dead, including over 150 schoolgirls.

No Diplomatic Exit
When questioned about soaring oil prices resulting from regional instability, Leavitt argued that eliminating the "terrorist regime" would benefit energy markets in the long term by removing barriers to free energy flow. Trump has previously rejected any negotiated settlement short of Iran's "unconditional surrender" and demanded personal involvement in selecting Tehran's next leader. Asked to clarify, Leavitt stated the president will determine success "when he, as Commander in Chief, determines that Iran can no longer pose a threat to the United States and to our troops and personnel in the Middle East."
